Terms and Conditions
The following terms apply in relation to contracts arranged by Dominican Airport Transfers LLC., as agent for the transport company, for transfers between the departure points and destinations specified in the written voucher issued by DAT.
DAT is at all times acting as the duly authorized agent of the transport company nominated on the written confirmation or ‘voucher’ issued by DAT Status of the Passenger(s) and their agents The purchaser of the transport services specified in the voucher is the other party to the contract with the nominated supplier. If an agent makes the contract, or any other person acting on behalf of the passenger whose name appears on the voucher, then that agent or other person is acting as the agent of the passenger.
Booking and payment
Bookings may be made online (www.dominicanairporttransfers.com). Where two or more people are included in the same booking, the person making the booking (“the lead name”) shall be deemed to have done so on behalf of both or all members of the party and he or she accepts these terms and the terms and conditions of the nominated supplier on behalf of himself or herself and each member of the party. Full payment is required at the time of booking. On receipt of such payment, DAT will issue, by email the voucher with details of the persons involved in the booking and the transfers booked. The voucher acts as the ‘ticket’ and must be presented to the DAT driver for both the outward and return journeys. All payments made to DAT are non-refundable unless, for reasons beyond its control, DAT cancels the booking.
Private transfers
All children over 2 years old count towards the occupancy of the vehicle, and thus should be included in the total number of passengers at the time of booking. If you require a child seat for a child, we strongly recommend that you bring your own due to the variation in quality and availability across destinations. In some areas we can request local child seats on your behalf. If the transport company provides a child seat is free of charge.
Wheelchairs
We ask that any passengers traveling with a wheelchair advise DAT. at the time of booking. This is vital to ensure that the correct vehicle is available to meet your specific requirements. We will need to be informed if wheelchairs are folding, manual or include a battery and/or motor. This policy also applies to scooters.
Amendments to bookings
Amendments to bookings Booking amendments for flight numbers, timings, accommodation name or address and mobile number can be free of charge up to 5 days before the first departure date by sending a message to info@dominicanairporttransfers.com, a US$10.00 Dollars administration fee will be charged within 4th, 3, 2 or 1 days prior to departure.
Booking Amendments for changes in departure or return dates, resort, number of passengers or vehicle size must be made by email to info@dominicanairporttransfers.com and a US$10.00 Dollars fee per booking for bookings 5 days before the first departure date. If the amendment leads to an increased cost this must be paid by the customer at the time of the request.
Cancellation
If a cancellation is made up to 5 days of the first departure date a full 100% refund will be made less a US$10.00 Dollars cancellation fee.
If a cancellation is made within 5 days of departure there is no refund.
Late bookings
Bookings can be made up to 24 hours before departure.

Baggage allowance and declaration
Each passenger is entitled to have carried with him on the relevant transfers up to two items of baggage, i.e. one suitcase which should not exceed 70cm x 40cm x 20cm and one piece of hand luggage. Carriage of any baggage exceeding these measurements will be subject to available baggage hold space and may be declined. If a passenger requires carriage of baggage in excess of this allowance (e.g. suitcases exceeding the maximum permitted size, golf clubs, wheelchairs etc) we must be informed at the time of booking. DAT reserves the right to make a charge for excess baggage, which must be paid prior to transportation, or to refuse carriage of the excess items.
Conditions of carriage
The nominated supplier, its drivers and appointed agents, DAT., reserve the right to refuse to carry any person who is, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs and/or whose behavior is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passengers. No refunds will be made in those circumstances. Passengers are not allowed to consume alcohol on any of our vehicles. Smoking is not permitted unless the driver has given express permission. All vehicles used by DAT. are insured for passenger and third party claims, as required by the local law. Passenger’s baggage is, however, carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage by the nominated supplier or by DAT. will not accept responsibility for any costs incurred or the making of any arrangements in returning the items to you. Whilst the supplier will make all reasonable efforts, there is no guarantee that the vehicle will arrive on time in order to begin the period of hire nor that it will reach its destination on time. Neither the nominated supplier nor DAT. will incur any liability in the event of such a delay. DAT. and our nominated suppliers in the Dominican Republic will endeavor to monitor for any flight delays affecting arrival transfers. Whilst ever effort is taken to monitor such situations we do ask that DAT. are advised of any new estimated arrival times when available (and if practical) so that services can be rescheduled accordingly. If the arrival flight is diverted, we recommend that you contact DAT. via the telephone numbers provided. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate changes of this nature, an additional charge maybe applied. Clients having pre-booked private transfers are required to supply full address details at the time of booking. As agents for the nominated supplier, DAT. accepts no liability for the failure of the nominated supplier to perform the contract or for any other incident in connection with the contract. We will, nevertheless, do all we reasonably can to ensure that the transfers are completed in accordance with the contract. DAT. will accept no liability for any difficulty or service failure if clients are not in possession of the appropriate transfer documentation outlining our arrival and departure procedures at their time of travel. We will not agree to any refund or compensation claims resulting from any service failure if passengers do not adhere to the procedures stated. Circumstances beyond our control may prevent the achievement of this responsibility. The following are examples of circumstances, which are not within our control:

· Accidents causing delays to the vehicle.
· Exceptional or severe weather conditions.
· Compliance with requests of the police.
· Deaths and accidents on the road.
· Vandalism and terrorism.
· Unforeseen traffic delays.
· Industrial action by third parties.
· Problems caused by other customers.
· Other circumstances affecting passenger safety.
· Road closures due to local fiestas or other events.
· Properties that are not accessible to type of service booked.
If the nominated supplier were to fail for any reason within their/our control to deliver passengers to their confirmed destination, we will endeavor to provide a suitable replacement. Any reimbursement made by DAT. for the costs of an alternative means of transport incurred by the passenger to get to their ticketed destination shall be no more than the cost of getting to that destination by taxi.
Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
Under no circumstances will DAT service providers, suppliers, and/or distributors be liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses where foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of Dominicanairporttransfers.com regardless of the form of action.
DAT and its suppliers, in making arrangements for hotels, tours, transportation or any service in connection with the itineraries of individual customers, shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act of default by any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing services included in the tours.
Furthermore, DAT and its suppliers accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, and government restrains, acts of war and/or terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control.
DAT content - including the information, names, images, pictures, logos, prices, dates, and availability regarding or relating to DAT website, service provider, operator and/or distribution partner – is provided “AS IS” and on an “AS AVAILABLE” basis without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.
At DAT we check and recheck the details about all the products and services we offer for accuracy. However, DAT does not warrant that functionality, content or information contained on Dominicanairporttransfers.com website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that Dominicanairporttransfers.com or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or bugs.
If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF A COMPLAINT
DAT take all customer service matters very seriously. If you are not satisfied with any element of the service provided we ask that you contact DAT in writing within 28 days of the date of the transfer so that any issues can be investigated. Details must be received either by email at info@dominicanairporttransfers.com. All feedback must be received in writing and no verbal statements can be accepted. We do endeavor to resolve any complaints received in writing within 28 days where possible.
